CrossFit Head Coach - Wayne
During my 9 years service in the Royal Navy I realised my heart didn't lie in Engineering but instead lay in a health and wellness capacity, helping individuals reach their goals for a better quality of life.
So personal training ensured for 4 years prior to leaving the armed forces, then a 7 year stint in a mainstream gym with a vast array of conditions and injuries to work with, some very challenging but always rewarding.
I was then introduced to CrossFit roughly 10 years ago, I was instantly hooked and looked in depth to the methodology behind CrossFit. Within 3 weeks I'd booked my Level 1 coaches course, next step was to search for a space of my own to open a Box. This was not plain sailing by any means, the end result though is CrossFit Devils Path. Writing this makes me proud to be involved, myself and the Coaching team look forward to sharing your journey.

Why CrossFit?
After being a very active kid and playing and competing in many sports, I went to university and studied for a career in finance. However, after getting my degree I worked as an unhappy banker who had problems with nutrition, eating disorders and training. It was time to get back to what I felt was my first love. Doing a PT course in my native Czech Republic seemed like a great idea to help me get some knowledge and solve my personal training issues. After completing my course I decided to take on another change and moved to the UK where I explored new ways of training, CrossFit and started to compete in powerlifting, competing in the English Championships.
I realised that the PT qualifications wasn’t enough for me and recently graduated with a first class degree in Strength and Conditioning Science. Last season I was also part of the S&C team for the Seniors Men’s Harlequins squad. Currently studying Masters in Sports Rehabilitation.
I truly believe that you can achieve anything with the right mindset and appropriate plan. I love CrossFit because it pushes people to become more conscious of their lifestyle, health and wellbeing. The community you become part of helps you through the highs and lows of your life, nit just your fitness.

Why CrossFit?
After years of sports and ‘regular’ gym training, I found CrossFit like many people… “why not have a go… it’s fun”. I can safely say I’ve been addicted since my first class.

In my experience it gives the ultimate mix of skill development, mental challenge and most importantly FUN, getting ‘fit’ happens as a bi-product. It has opened my mindset to all things both in and out of the gym.

CrossFit Coach - Nula
I’m Nula, a CrossFit coach and yoga teacher with a background in gymnastics, strength and mobility. I’ve completed my CrossFit Level 1, the CrossFit Gymnastics Course, and 500 hours of advanced yoga training. I love coaching because I like helping people realise they’re capable of more than they think, whether that’s lifting heavier, going faster, or simply feeling stronger and more at home in their body. I care about good movement and the power of consistency and effort to build real progress over time.

Why CrossFit?
CrossFit has changed my life since I started in 2017. It transformed the way I felt about my body. Instead of focusing on how it looked, I started caring about what it could do. I love how much it challenges you. There’s always something new to learn, a skill to improve, or an area to get stronger in. I believe it gives people the tools to become more confident, capable and resilient in all areas of life. I’ve also made some brilliant friendships through CrossFit, and the community makes it all the more enjoyable.
Favourite Movement?
Echo bike, thrusters, burpees - anything a bit grim, really.
Favourite Workout?
Kalsu. Burpees, thrusters, mental toughness… what’s not to love?

Why CrossFit?
I injured my knee at 18, surgeon told me if I injured it again I might not walk again. Lived in a pub playing darts & pool drinking pints and fine dining on assorted bar snack for 10 odd years. My old man, found out he had prostate cancer he was always in the gym and made an amazing full recovery. Asked myself if he had it, it could be genetic if I got it how well would I get over it in my condition? Met Wayne as a PT he introduced me to CrossFit and I’ve been a cult member ever since living life better than ever

Why CrossFit?
Born and battle-tested in South Africa (youngest of four feisty sisters), I learned early that life can throw you a wooden bat named "Hot Lips"— My PE teacher’s weapon of choice when I accidentally-on-purpose forgot my kit. Sport and I had a rocky breakup after a move to a new town, but turns out, it was just a dramatic pause before a much more exciting sequel.

Fast forward to now—I’m a mum to a 14-year-old son who keeps me honest and on my toes. They’re always watching, absorbing how we show up, how we push through fear, and how we lead by doing. That’s why I believe in walking the walk: showing up, doing hard things, and choosing growth—especially when it’s uncomfortable.

I’ve been coaching since 2018, where I started in Bootcamp trenches. I worked for several months in a Strength and Conditioning Gym prior to Covid. During Covid, and housebound working on skill acquisition and teaching myself how to Handstand, handstand walk and do double unders. Community was what I was after, so immediately after we could train with others I rejoined CFDP. I’ve been coaching CrossFit mini’s kids and Teens for the past couple of years and have also had a passion for Calisthenics ignited, after being selected for Season 6 of Ninja Warrior UK. If you’re wondering if it’s a good idea to debut your obstacle course career on national television without training—spoiler: it’s not. But the fire was lit. I became a qualified Calisthenics Instructor in September 2024, and have been coaching ever since.

Gymnastics? That’s my other love. Told I couldn’t be a gymnast as a kid, I decided to become a Gymnastics Coach as an adult—because healing your inner child through handstands is a thing, right?

Whether I’m coaching adults or kids, nothing hits quite like watching someone unlock a skill they once believed impossible. That “I can’t do it” becoming “I can’t do it yet”? That’s the magic. I’m here for the process, the progress, and passing that torch of belief, grit, and joy to everyone who walks through our doors.

CrossFit Coach - Mark

I found CrossFit in 2018 while going through a divorce - What started as a way to clear my mind quickly became a way to rebuild, inside and out. That experience shapes my approach to life today.
With a background in football, rugby, cricket, and long-distance running, I’ve always been drawn to the art of possible.
Now as a CrossFit Level 1 Coach, CrossFit Kids certified, and PFCA Functional Fitness Coach, I focus on helping others find strength through struggle. I’m here to guide, support, and remind you that slow progress is still progress.
Currently chasing down consistent Ring Muscle-Ups and Handstand Walks, and embracing a new love for Olympic Weightlifting.
And while I take Wayne’s cleaning expectations very seriously, I live by the quote: “Don’t take yourself too seriously.”

Why CrossFit?
Because sometimes you find strength in unexpected places.
Favourite Movement?
Ring Muscle-Ups and Handstand Walks – still a work in progress.

Least Favourite Movement?
Any WOD that kicks off with a dumbbell and a box. No thanks!
