During my 9 years service in the Royal Navy I realised my heart didn't lie in Engineering but instead lay in a health and wellness capacity, helping individuals reach their goals for a better quality of life.
So personal training ensued for 4 years prior to leaving the forces, then a 7 year stint in a mainstream gym with a vast array of conditions and injuries to work with, some very challenging but always rewarding.
I was then introduced to CrossFit roughly 3 years ago, I was instantly hooked and looked in depth to the methodology behind CrossFit. Within 3 weeks I'd booked my Level 1 coaches course, decided to get things moving and open my own box. This was not plain sailing by any means, the end result though is CrossFit Devils Path in Surrey. Within our box you'll find an amazing work ethos, passion and professionalism, wrapped up in a community spirit that is like having a second family. Writing this makes me proud to be involved, myself and the team look forward to sharing your journey.
Before Crossfit...I've always been into sport, taking part in gymnastics and athletics competitively from a young age. I've coached gymnastics forever and enjoy teaching the recreational and competitive squad children. I started out my working life as a fitness instructor after qualifying as a personal trainer through 'Premier Training' working at LA Fitness. That's where I was unfortunate enough to meet Wayne Jarret! I was a personal trainer at the gym for several years before a career change where I joined the Fire Brigade and followed Wayne to CrossFit.
Now...Since starting training in CrossFit I instantly loved the competitive element and took part in my first open after only a couple weeks of training! I've now taken part in 4 opens and a number of other team and individual competition with some results to be really proud of...'box rock' and 'battle of the beast' are two of my best achievement! I also qualified as a level 1 Crossfit trainer and began coaching in a sport I love!

Graham has been interested in sports and sporting activities ever since school and actually hoped to own an independent gym.
Graham started training at CrossFit Infinity in 2013 to get back into shape after a lengthy layoff due to a displaced and broken collar bone and it didn’t take him long to be totally hooked which resulted in him taking his CrossFit Level 1 Trainers certificate. Graham has competed in a wide range of sporting activities including downhill mountain bike racing, several triathlons, marathons, football cross country running and track events at County level and cycling sportive.
He currently trains 3 to 4 times a week at CrossFit Devils Path and also coaches the Olympic Lifting classes and is studying his Personal Trainers certificate.
I found my passion for fitness during my 5 years in the royal navy. I tried CrossFit because I wanted to become fitter and healthier. I immediately fell in love with it.
I wanted to increase my knowledge of the sport and after I was asked to intern as a coach I booked my CrossFit level one course. CrossFit is always pushing me, challenging me and exposing my strengths & weakness. It's made me stronger and fitter than any other form of training I've done.
I'm Mango, I've been involved with Devils Path my whole life, I spend most of my time keeping an eye on you guys, helping warm you up, but you can find me chasing a ball or playing tug of rope. Come say hello if you see me at the box. I'm always happy to see you and will wag my tail a lot.
